Just received my CMMG upper today. Looks great, the finish on it is actually nicer then the factory Colt 6920 I put it on. I'm not sure what generation mine is because it doesn't have the cotter pin for the firing pin, but it does have the evolution anti-jam charging handle. I'm super exited to try it out. It looks like CMMG did their homework on this one.

You have the newer BCG but without the cotter pin.

what kinda upgrade did they do? i recieved my upper on friday and it's got the cotter pin.

Cotter pin model is the latest.
Live round extraction, cotter pin for the FP, pinned extractor, bolt machine to optimize BHOA function. Yours may have the hole in the rear flat for the cleaning rod/spring guide.
