It is provocative but you knew already knew that given the fervor of some of the religous folk 'round here.
I stood my ground one time and got banned for 6 weeks, on the positive side I got to converse with Goatboy quite a few times. Even if they do ban you you can always start a new account if you like. Steaming maggot filled pile of dog vomit is similar to Fartin'-Illini.[;)] |

No, your sig line is not offensive (to me).
Whether you change it or not is up to you. If you're comfortable lying down for those who complain (about nothing, I might add), then change it. Oh, and I believe that Jesus (not hey-zoos, Mr. Aug.) is the son of God. |

I don't find it offensive. My question to those who do is why? SGB has it right, usually those who are offended by something that they read or hear are looking to be offended. Leave it there unless management suggests otherwise.

None of the "rights" we all believe in The Constitution says that "you have the right to never be offended".
I say don't change it unless YOU decide to change it. "I'm sure those offended enough to complain are those "recently converted" (what's the term...born again?) as they are usually the most fervent due to their "having to make up" for all their years of "evil" from before they were "saved".. my 2 cents... hope it doesn't offend, well, not really. I do not find it offensive. I do find all the petty crap like this offensive. I've said it before, but that doesn't make it profound, but still, here goes--WE NEED TO GET ALONG, NOT FIGHT AMONG OURSELVES. No offense taken here. I'm still not sure why so many people sweat the petty stuff.
It has been my experience that people who take offense too easily lack the sense of humor required to survive in the world today with their sanity intact. Many of those lead fairly unhappy lives because they're to hung-up on these things to just laugh it off. Life is a journey, worry about getting a good pair of shoes. If it makes you feel any better, the last time I met a born-again christian who mentioned God more than 3 times within 10 minutes of casual conversation (not in a church), I asked him "What did you do that was so bad, you needed to be born again?" |

Just so we can finally put this issue to bed, your signature line was not the reason you were banned from chat. From hearing from the person who banned you, and hearing about all the complaints from other members who use chat frequently, the reason you were banned from chat was because you seemed to enjoy pestering people. You constantly harassed folks, even after being asked to stop. Your sig line had nothing to do with it.

Secondly, I am bringing it up for a couple reasons, the most obvious being that it has already gotten me banned in chat (and don't blindly listen to DonR, read the chat log I posted). Also, it serves as a warning to people that having an offensive sig line constitutes a bannable offense (apparently).
