I've wondered about this before sort of a what if all hell broke loose in this country scenario, and it were neccessary to relocate to somewhere else where would it be? For me I have some criteria: It must have full gun rights, meaning gun laws must be simular to present US laws. or looser.... It must have good freedom in general no Communist "Workers Paradises" for me thankyou very much.... It must have reasonable taxes certainly no higher than 50%, and even thats excessive to the extreme.... Ability to move to on reletivly short notice, and do the paper work later (But not "open boarders").... It must be a developed country no third world shitholes.... Would Be nice: A constitutional right to keep, and Bear arms.... Looser gun laws than the US.... Tight Immigration controls.... A good economy.... A high standard of liveing.... A low cost of liveing.... Outside Global Fallout patterns.... Outside major earthquake zones.... Outside Typhoon, and Hurricane zones.... Has highland.... Has alot of open farmable land.... The stronger the millitary the better.... English is a first lanquage or most of the country can speak it as a second.... Unfortunetly I can't seem to find any, there eighther Socialist (No guns No Freedom....) big government EU control freeks, or totaly free but there third world shitholes in a state of total Anarchy.... So does anyone have any suggestions?.... Some of the ones I've heared about so far arn't perfect but I'de like opinions: Switzerland Isreal New Zealand Aland Not so sure about: Sweden Norway Finland I'm not currently planning any moves this is just an intelectual "what if" exercise to determine where to go if neccessary, but I'll tell you doing what little research I've done has really reinforced how good we still have it here, and as bad as it seems to get sometimes it's still ALOT better than anywhere else, and it also serves as a reminder of what can happen if we get complacent, and the wrong people get elected, so let this be a reminder to VOTE, so that it never becomes neccessary to find an "Alpha Site"....
