And I hope we don't get it, but this country needs that level of shock and wake up every once in a while. With a terrorist attack or what happened on 9/11... - More people wanted to help others, than focus on their own accumulation of "things". - Sheeple started to wake up and realize that there "are" bad people out there. - A lot more of the sheeple started to exercise their 2nd Amendment Right and started to wake up to the fact of why it IS important. Look at Bill O'Reilly for example. - People showed, on both sides, that they love this country and the people in it. "Even if it was for a short period of time"  - People found out at some level that our society can be fragile. - People found out that the government can not protect you. - And people, that don't normally, got involved. Without a terrorist attack, which we are at now... - People are getting back to thinking only of themselves. - People are starting to forget there are bad people wanting to hurt us. - All those guns that were bought by the sheeple are back in the closet or in the chest of drawers and haven't been used in a while. - The extremes of the liberals and conservatives are at ridiculous levels of hostility and stupidity. - People are starting to think again..."Nothing is going to happen to us." - And people are starting to go back into their own little worlds again. Sad, but that's natural for human beings. So God help those that "don't" get it.

I disagree.... It would polarize even more people against Bush and damage the Republican parties philosophy that we have to take the fight to the enemy... You think the Blame Bush Crowd is vocal now??? They think we deserved to be attacked in the first place...if we get attacked again now...they will say we deserved it even more because of out anti-world view and incursions in to Afganistan and Iraq. |
Whoa...I didn't actually mean that. The point was that it's sad, only that level of shock get's people thinking and acting in more of a positive/proactive way. And I was looking for supportive ways to get people acting in that positive/proactive way again. It ain't going to happen, but a guy can dream. *The reason I framed it this way, "I knew people would look at this thread and probably post in it. Otherwise, it's just move along....nothing to see here. Just like the sheeple reaction I'm getting." |

a very big and very sad +1. we don't need that kind of crap. We do need to keep eliminating the asswipes that do this sort of thing but we are still recovering from sept 11th economically. The sheep will never be awakened. Count them amongst the enemy and adjust your activities so. |

Say "anything" you want. The point of the thread was... PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING AGAIN AND IT'S GOING TO TAKE A MAJOR LEVEL OF SHOCK TO WAKE THEM UP...AND THAT IS SAD! Do you "honestly" believe I'd want 3,000 people to die like that?  On the other hand, a lot more people than that die of smoking and driving their cars drunk EVERY DAY...and people don't do ANYTHING to help others out. See an old woman pass out on the street and it takes 15 people to see it, before ONE person will step up to help. Sad! Just plain sad! But right after a terrorist attack, I'd bet at least 10 of those people would get involved. That's my point. What are you a hater tonight?

Bad idea though I at least understand the point you are trying to get across rather than ranting like an asshat. I agree with the poster who said the Sheeple will never wake up. Hell, some used 9/11 as a way to destroy America from within. We had people on airplanes then cower while their planes were flown into the WTC, etc, killing both them and thousands more. Next time around I suspect that some would try to fight and that some of their fellow passengers would turn against them. Consider them informers and a 5th Column for our enemies, plan accordingly. |

Yeah, I agree with Djar. All an attack would do is give the liberals ammo to use against us. Shit many of them act like the reason for every attack is all our fault anyway, they'll just say it was caused by Iraq, even though we didn't need to be in Iraq for 9/11 to happen. |
Well...if you know and believe in the bible, you'll see that we "are" in the last days period. For the FIRST time in history, technologically, everything that is about the last days is possible. Tracking of humans, tracking of travel, having to make a purchase by using a chip implanted in the hand or forehead, destruction of 1/3 of the world's population by nuclear war, the middle east having an Islamic leader with a nuclear bomb, Israel becoming a state in 1948, etc., etc. We ARE at a time when the end could be close. How close? Who knows. NOBODY but the Father. But "technologically" we are at a point, where it could happen. As far as the infrastructure making it possible to track all humans left and controlling all of their purchases? I think we still have some time, but I can't make a prediction. I just know, we DO have the technology to make EVERYTHING in the bible happen, just like it says. For the first time in history, we ARE at that point. |
Well, it would give them ammo to try with. We don't have to accept their bullshit anymore. In past decades conservatives had NO voice thanks to an overwhelmingly socialist MSM. That has changed. In the 60's and 70's conservative men in this country just knuckled under. We don't have to repeat that mistake. Personally, I'd be willing to fight them in the media, politically and on the battlefield if it comes down to it. Act? According to them, it IS our fault. And to tell the truth, if you know anything about our foreign policy in regards with our corporations and how our government/corporations act towards and with foreign interests, I can understand why the liberals DO think it's our fault. Nothing we have done in the world makes us deserve 9/11, not a fucking thing. You remember what the terrorists hate us for our freedom, our gluttony, and our excess. Remember the tape of Osama after 9/11 where he talked specificly about the Patriot Act? He said we our fools to hand over our freedom and except any loss of the rights/priveledges we had. Long story short they forced us to except change in the form of our Government further infringing on our rights and sacrificing our liberty for false security. That idea sound familiar at all???? It should, tragicly it is lost on most, Americans especially.
