Then everyone who isn’t a boomer uses logic, statistics and personal experience. In both big and small words to try to convince the boomers their wrong. And the year isn’t in fact 1969. Boomers make threads like this then wonder why people say things like "lol ok boomer"

Millennial checking in and have no idea what you’re bitching about. There are pussies/lazy ass mother fuckers in every generation. What’s funny is I’ve got my shit together than most Xers and some Boomers I know.

Wow, OP is peak boomer.
For real you should give seminars on how to define the term ‘Boomer’. Congratulations, you wrote the dumbest shit I’ve read all week. |

it's because kids these days no longer fear a higher power, they have been indoctrinated with the belief they're the top of the food chain.

Quoted: I think generalizing an entire generation is not gonna work. I've met people of all ages, races and (both) genders (oh shit now I'm in trouble) that are willing to work hard. Old boomer here living in a 55 plus golf community and our staff is a variety of ages and I love them. They are cheery and work hard and have to put up with us old geezers not hearing them or forgetting what we ordered. Good part is the bill is automatic (with a tip) so it gets paid regardless. I suspect if times get really hard the younger generations will suck it up and step up. Hope so. Cause I'm gonna need my diapers changed when I get to hospice. Quoted: I was talking with a coworker today about not being able to find quality younger applicants/employees. We talked about them not wanting to work hard, lack of a “can do” attitude, won’t work in harsh conditions out doors etc. We also discussed how they all think the world revolves around them, their opinion is the only one that counts and they can voice their opinion whenever they want. A few conclusions: They have never been hungry. They have never been truly worried about where their next meal is coming from. They have never been shown the meaning of excellence in what they do. They have never been encouraged to excel. They have been taught that mediocrity is acceptable. They have never been told NO. They think that everybody must respect their opinion. They think they can say whatever they want whenever they want. They think that they are owed $100k a year just for showing up. A couple of realities why they are like this. Mommy and Daddy never told them NO. Mommy and Daddy never let them fail on their own. Mommy and Daddy never paddled their a$$. They have never tasted their own blood. They have never had to pick their own a$$ up off of the floor when somebody handed it to them. Some of the best advice my Dad ever gave me: Don’t let your mouth write a check your a$$ can’t cash. Absolutely right for those under 35 years old. I would add that social media and progressive culture foster this.

Here’s one thing I have learned, to teach them a hard lesson, and it seems to effect their work ethic quickly. They have to earn the right to use their cellphone at work. I tell them from the start they can keep their phones on them unless I see them constantly using them. Then their devices get put in time out and they have to earn the right to carry back. They are a huge distraction. I ain’t paying you to text people and stare meaninglessly into your screen of uselessness.
Big daddy work boss here has to teach them life lessons no one else bothered with. I honestly don’t get it. Wtf is in their brains that make them think there is something so important in your cellphone that can’t wait till break, lunch, or after work. |

LOL. Typical Boomer fashion.
You're Generation raised us Gen X'ers. So, who's to blame again? You're statement sounds like a female wrote it. With all the broadness and pronouns. I'll work your old ass under the dirt any day of the week. No matter the skill. No matter the weather.. We'll start giving a fuck about you, when you start giving a fuck about us. Until then, you're on your own, old guy... |

MOST of what is currently wrong with the U.S. can be traced back to the Baby Boomers. |

We’re living in this bastardized state of America because of the actions of boomers. Thx a lot!

Well I will at least be an OP who posts something out of frustration that was with a very, very broad brush that blew up in his face and at least step back into the thread and face my admonishment like a man.
My gross generalizations were out of line and apologies to those I offended. Every generation is the greatest in their own way. Every generation is the worst in their own way. |

Hmmm, and people wonder why there's the boomer hate. These guys grew up in the absolute prime of America and then ran up a bunch of debt and effectively destroyed the future of the country, and now they pat themselves on the back and rant daily about how kids today have no gumption.
I'm a millennial and I just lost a 3 year decent job right before Christmas because the company was basically gutted by the boomer owner who wanted to retire and driven to bankruptcy by a combination of incompetence and the owner pulling money out to secure his retirement. Boomers got theirs, we all get shit on |
