Quoted: Not even a script yet, so he'll be recast as I'm sure they won't alter the Marvel universe plans by not having the movie at all. View Quote I believe they were planning on him passing the reigns to his sister, it will probably happen off camera now. Cancer sucks, especially for someone so young. RIP |

I thought BP was one of the most overrated movies of all time, but that sucks. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Especially the family.

Quoted: The actor in Serenity and Dr. Strange was Chiwetel Ejiofor, not Chadwick Boseman. That being said, I had no idea he was sick either. I liked him as an actor. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Wow. That's crazy and surprising. I had no idea he was even sick. I didn't care for Black Panther, but I loved him in Serenity. RIP sir. This reminds me of Andy Whitfield. He was also young and super fit and contracted leukemia. I know cancer doesn't discriminate, but damn. He played Spartacus in the Starz TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actor in Serenity and Dr. Strange was Chiwetel Ejiofor, not Chadwick Boseman. That being said, I had no idea he was sick either. I liked him as an actor. All black people look alike to some people. I'm surprised he didn't say he liked Boseman in Pulp Fiction. |

That’s genuinely awful. He was so damn talented
Hope to see him safely on the other side. |

That is sad. I found him very entertaining. I liked him as Black Panther.
He was also great on SNL Black Jepordy |

I'm a little drrrnk right now, but that makes me sad, I can't believe he's dead. I liked him as Black Panther, didn't know much else about him. But seemed like a cool guy. So young to die from that. Damn, fuck cancer.

RIP Fuck cancer. My best friend died of colon cancer at 33 years old, left a wife and two small daughters.
Not to get off in the weeds, but it blows my mind we have not found a cure or at least a 99% cure for cancers yet. |
|
There's a video out there of him breaking down talking about two kids with cancer who wrote him a bunch saying they were holding on to see BP and they didn't make it and nobody in the room knew he had cancer too. It's pretty sad.

Quoted: So diagnosed at around 38/39. A big ole "fuck you" to the physicians that casually dismiss their young/younger patients health concerns. Cancer is nasty and it isn't going away any time soon. Poor dude, man. View Quote I fear colon cancers have a tendency to grow pretty large before detection. I think the second uncle getting it was our family's wake up call. Which was too late for my father. But neither of my (20+ year older than me) half brothers had any symptoms, when to get checked out and had monster tumors. And a nephew who's 6 years older than me. Being born from dad's second marriage have me a two decade head start on screening. I'm 41 and will be getting my 5th colonoscopy in a few weeks. Had my first, was good, waited 3 years and they found polyps, so now I go every year. If anyone has any family history, get checked early. |

The letter was published Tuesday in Variety and comes with a list of demands, including committing to not using police officers on sets and for events, divesting from anti-Black content that glorifies police brutality and corruption, and investing in anti-racist projects. The letter also demands that Hollywood companies recruit and support Black professionals at studios, agencies, and more." Back to our regularly scheduled program. Black Panther was a shit movie.
That said, I don't know anything about the guy's politics, but as a fellow human male aged 45, his demise is a sad and sobering thing. |
|
Fuck, that's some scary stuff. I'm in my early 30s and never considered that cancer was even remotely a real possibility this early really.
I really liked him in "42" as well. I thought he was brilliant as Jackie Robinson. Sad stuff |
|
Very sad. So young.
I liked him as an actor. Thoughts are with his friends and family. I know I have a young lad who who is a big Marvel fan and will be vey upset by this when he wakes up. RIP |
|
I'm guessing a horrible and painful final two years of his life.
RIP, young man. |

Quoted: They recommend 40 or 45 for Black & Latino men, probably for Natives, too. My doctor told me to wait until 50, though. View Quote @Ironhandjohn Go have it done bro. So many won't do it because, herdeeeder butt stuff. That is bullshit and Cancer sucks. Have had it done twice. And have had 18" of tubing cut out of me no cancer. I am under 50. I never saw a single movie this guy did but wish they caught it earlier and feel for his family. The wiki said that he was probably a good human being. |

Chadwick Boseman Surprises Black Panther Fans While They Thank Him Stuff like this reinforces things I've heard from the convention circuit that he loved his fans, and was incredibly down-to-Earth. There may have been political differences, but he was still human. And during all of this, he was still fighting an aggressive cancer that nobody but his inner circle knew. Again, FUCK CANCER. |
|

Unfortunately colon cancer appears to attack black people earlier in their life than others and I suspect that the lack of early detection makes it more deadly for them.
If BLM only spent less time protecting violent felons from their own bad actions with police and more time saving the black community from what's really killing black people like diabetes, heart disease and cancer they could actually do some good. |
|
Black Panther was an ok movie. I did really like his Marvel character in every movie he portrayed it in though and I must say he was a really likable guy and a great actor. RIP and fuck cancer

Omg who gives a shit. How many people die daily of cancer? Why is he so special?

Shortly before a deployment I had my physical with my civilian Dr. Because I was going to be gone for awhile he wanted to do the works including a prostate exam. I'm not a big fan but he insisted. He checked his finger after the exam and found blood. I asked him if it wasn't possible that it was because he just rammed his gigantic sausage finger in my butt. He said it was possible but not likely and insisted I get a colonoscopy. Long story short I had a cancerous polyp that was within .5 mm of my colon wall. They said if had reached the colon wall It would have been a big deal and if left untreated it would have killed me. I continued to have colonoscopies annually for awhile and now it's every five years. That Dr. saved my life and I was giving him a bad time the whole way. As a result all of this my children have to start getting colonoscopies when they turn thirty due to my history. By the way, I was 35 when this happened. You're never too young and listen to your Dr. A prostate exam is embarrassing but in this case it saved my life not from prostate cancer but from colon cancer.
