Until I hit 35 I could get by on 5-6 hours a sleep easy with some nights pulling 3-4 hours and being fine if not a little tired at work. After 35 forget about it, 7 hours minimum. A few months ago I started dieting and working out and I find myself needing even more sleep now, last 3 nights I've gotten 9 hours but I'd say 8 would be the norm now.

In bed by 10:30. Up around 3:30 or 4 to whiz.
About half the time I go back to sleep until 4:45.
The other half I lay & pet the dog and think about stuff I can't change but wish I could.

Usually 7-8. I wish I could run on less but if I get under 7 a couple days in a row I get freaking wiped.

9-10 hours at night and an hour nap 3-4 in the afternoon. Retirement doesn't suck.

If I do a 2+ hour aerobic workout, I need more sleep. If I do upper body, it must release some hormones because I wake up after 5-6 hours ready to smash baby seals with a hammer.

7 hours.

Since I was 17, I've hated waking up and the sun is already up. I hate wasting daylight. I was up till 1am the other night and slept till 9am. That hadn't happened in 30 years.

I made up for it by getting up at 4am the next day.

6 decent hours and I’m good to go. A couple of nights this week I had 2 and 3 hours. Stress and the injuries keep me up. Hoping that next year at this time I sleep well every night.
