For those who think that their will be a cool "post AW Ban" version of the Cx4 Storm, think again.
First the Cx4 is made in Italy so it is subject to the importation "sporting requirements."
The LE model is identical to the civilian model, except that it ships with 2 restriced LE ONLY 15 round magazines. So a "cool features" LE model does not, and probably never will, exist.
Also got the chance to really take it to one of these guns. We put a 1,000 rounds of Winchester whitebox 115 gr. through one.
We dumped 10 (15 round) mags in rapid succession (total 150 rounds) with 0 failures of any kind. In fact we had 0 failures of any kind in all of the 1,000 rounds fired.
Despite the Uzi style sights it remained dramatically accurate. We had more than one 15 shot 1" groups at 15 yards (the limit of the indoor pistol range) using only iron sights, shoulder fired with no rest.
I had considered reversing the mag release to the right side for faster engagement with the trigger finger, but I discovered the standard location is not as hindering as I believed in actual practice. Magazine changes were a lot faster than I expected they could be.
The trigger break was as bad as any other plastic trigger gun out there. Somehow it did not seem to impact accuracy as much as I believed it would.
