Anything for him to retire.  Anything?

IMHO, he should have been removed from office the moment the diagnosis was made.

Does it affect his thought/decision making process?  Don't know...it might.

The actual cancer may not at this time, but the fact he knows he has it and it is terminal affects the way he thinks the way he feels about the future, etc.  He should step down or be removed.

It's not like he had reallly good judgment before.   So I'm not sure how far he is off of his baseline.

Having sound judgment is not one of the qualifications of the office he holds.
Therefore, the fact that he lacks sound judgment does not disqualify him.

Maybe not, but his voting record and positions over the last several years certainly do!

I thank him for his service to the nation but he needs to step down and enjoy retirement while he can.

I,years ago, liked McCain even with the Keating scandal as quite honestly I don't think any of them are lily white so it's a matter of degree of dirtbagitude.  However,he is now operating on spite and vindictiveness that he will never be President and whatever his illness and treatments are steering.

Would I want to be in a car driven by John McCain? No. If I wouldn't want him as an Uber driver then why trust him with such important decisions that affect 320 million people or indeed the world? I would hold Ruth Bader-Ginsburg to the same standard, among others.

I think the US system of being ruled by people who should have long since been sent to Florida is a bit curious,to say the least. I mean,I don't like Paul Ryan but would at least think he could probably still safely drive a car...now because I said that watch him get a DUI next week

Too many blows to the head in a POW camp. I bet when they dig into his dead brain he'll make Aaron Hernandez look like Einstein. He should be removed immediately.

He has turned bitter and wont support Trump even if its something he agrees with

Much like the Democrats

I don't know If it does, but with all of the medical issues he cannot be focused on the task at hand. I like the man, but just my opinion.

no question.  but then again, id say 90% of congress should have been forced out for different reasons, that leaves them vulnerable to blackmail / making bad decisions / incompetent.  medical conditions, corruption, tax evasion, perverts, etc

It should.  My father-in-law had brain cancer and went from a guy who was the Dean of Accounting at a good sized University, and who wrote text books, to a guy you couldn't trust to bake cookies.

My mother died of the same brain cancer. She couldn’t handle the full course of the drugs. Even the limit drug treatment she was on often made her quite delusional. It was horrible to see a once sharp and intelligent person turn into that.
There is no way he should still be in office.
If he had any shred of decency, he would resign immediately.
Of course he’s a politician,so decency is not in his wheelhouse.

I believe he would have stepped down if a Dem. President was in office now.  Since he hates Trump he will stay in until the bitter end.

I read somewhere that the wound he showed up with inconsistent with the procedure he said he had done to the tumor, and that it was just a ploy to get out of testifying about the fake Trump piss dossier.

Father died of it.

Gave rise to a bouts of agression, weird plans, and a change in personality.

In the end there was nothing of my father left, very sad. For the sake of the USA his family has to realise he needs to step down.

He should have been voted out years ago cancer or no. Piece of shit.

That said, ever hear the term "touch the brain never the same"?

Any kind of treatment, manipulation, trauma, ect. of the brain, can and will affect thought process on some level.

When I had surgery to remove a tumor in my head, I was not allowed to be alone for a month, and they wouldn't allow me to drive for six.

McCain and Menendez are perfect examples for why the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed, with Senators appointed (and recalled) by the states.

We have a friend who was recently diagnosed with this type of brain cancer.

As I understand it, she suddenly lost her memory.  She didn't know friends or family.

She had surgery and is not getting chemo, but it always terminal.

To answer the question....Yes
