I'm sure it's been asked before, I am unable to find the answer.
Who produces the forged upper/lower for AR15.com for sale in their webstore? Thanks for the help. |

LOL...you know that places like arfcom sign an NDA saying they won't release the name of the OEM, right? Go ask BCM who makes their parts and get back to us.... |

Well, since no one seems to know, does anyone own one? How is the quality? If I can't find out, then I might as well spend a very small amount more and get a Spikes Tactical. I've got one of the full billet rifles and quality seems good. It just sits in my safe, never fired. |

I seriously doubt the Avilas would put their logo on an inferior product. That's not me being a fan boy, that's me using common sense. Everyone that has bought one, has been happy AFAIK. |

I have three matched forged upper/lower sets of ARFcom receivers. Fit and finish are impeccable.
They also performed the finish work--burnt bronze in my case--and they will not release a product that isn't as perfect as they can make it. I know for a fact that they have returned product to source when the quality wasn't up to their standards. If there is interest, I will post a photo of one of the receiver sets. ETA: In process of ordering a fourth set. |

I have one of the lowers, and...
It's a lower. The fit and finish is good, the logo on the side is a big BFL, and the serial number starts with "EBR" which amused me briefly, but at the end of the day, it's a lower. At $109 before shipping and transfer, it's not the cheapest option available, but it's not intended to be, either. It's a good product, and I'd assume the proceeds go towards the site. |

The 2 finishes are night and day.....one is shiny and the other is a flat finish.......looks like shit......
YMMV |
