HOMEMADE GUN VISE FOR UNDER 40 DOLLARS

http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=how%20to%20make%20gun%20bench&qs=n&form=QBVR&pq=how%20to%20make%20gun%20bench&sc=1-21&sp=-1&sk=#view=detail&mid=87AAB334AC40AA24AEE087AAB334AC40AA24AEE0

I made this.  Get the vise from ebay, harbor freight etc.   Look at Homedepot for a scrap piece of wood.  buy the hardware (NUTS AND BOLTS)   and you have a nice, CHEAP, portable gun vise for anywhere PORTABLE and does not take up space.  Ive built many Ar's with mine.  Make it as fancy as you want or just keep it simple.

I just bought 3 at home depot 2 weeks ago for $69 each. Cheaper than I could build them for.

All wood and very solid

The legs fold up, and the shelf keeps the legs from folding when upright.

I bought the same table.   I got a used treadmill belt (junk) free and cut it to fit for a nice table cover.

Some of the reloading benches in the reloading bench thread seem portable enough for your needs
