The bench is kiln dried doug fir based on a pattern I got out of the American Rifleman aboutt 20 years ago. It's drilled and held together with 1" Schd 80 pvc nipples/washers and locknuts. 1-1/8' thick very hi density fiberboard. Rock solid and can be broken down and moved. The rack from Costco hold the 5000 pcs of 223 brass, about 18M bullets and various other ammo shit. Tools are kept in a Craftsman roll away out of the pic. I used to have 10 times the amount of stuff till I downsized about 5 years ago but it keeps growing. The safe holds 6 ARs', Benelli M2, custom 7mm/08, 45-70 and a bucha hand guns. I be set. I got those for next to nothing is the only reason I use them. If starting from scratch, I recommend heavier.
