This is more of a fun light hearted topic, but Im gunna do it anyways. I got a Storm 2950 case a couple weeks ago for my birthday. I didn’t really know what to do with it and then it came to me. ZOK! I thought it would be fun to make a Zombie Outbreak Kit. Yes I know Zombies are not real but I have been into Zombies for a long time and it’s something that’s really caught on lately. plus it would be fun!
So far I got together : 870 shotgun w/ pistol grip (broken down to fit) Ammo Glow sticks Flare (ground and aerial) Flash light Knife Hatchet First aid kit Lighter Space blanket Para cord Compass So has anyone else done something similar (bugout bags count)? What have you put in yours? What would you put in yours? is there somthing I'm forgetting? Remember the undead are after you, so its got to be light and easily mobile. Let me know! |
| The cases dimensions are 29x18x10.5. It’s not a 6ft pickup bed LOL. Twinkies do last forever but 1 MRE will have to work being space is limited. I kinda got thinking like a bug out bag, grab it in a hurry and it be enough to get you to safety not hold your ground. If I wanted to dig in I would just board up the windows load up a BETA mag and sit tight at home. This is a last ditch can only grab 1 thing and 1 thing only. The tide of the undead is high, and the waters rising! |

Well if you want to talk reality then why are you here at all? Zombies don’t exist do they? This is for fun (although I am putting this together)! And as far as the 870, I have one that I can spare to do this with; plus it breaks down nicely, is reliable, good firepower, and can shoot a large variety of ammo. I normally carry a side arm anyways so that doesn’t need to be in the kit.
This ZOK is something more than likely would be kept locked in my office at work or stored at a friend or relatives house. I like most people spend a majority of my time at home, I would like to keep the “heavy duty” armaments at home where they would do me the most good. If I get stuck at home I have everything I need and can live without the ZOK. If I’m stuck at work (where I spend a good portion of my time) I would rather have a bit more to fight my way home to my friends and family and move out to safety from there or dig in. |

| Like I keep saying its basicly a BUG OUT BAG! Im just calling it a Zombie kit for fun. if the admins want to move it they can thats fine. But a bug out bag is a GENERAL term so I thought it might be suited here too. if not they can move it, its no biggie. dont get all pissy cause i used the word zombie. |
| The most important thing on my list will be a scoped .308 ample ammunition and a way to get to Michael Jackson's burial site. My intent will be to put Michael Jackson down at all costs. I can handle the flesh eating zombies, but I'll be damned if I'm going to live in a perpetual Thriller video. |

I dont know if this will help but a kinda cool sign generator |

Suppressed M4 with red dot, suppressed 10/22 with a 4-6 power scope, and some sort of 9mm that's capable of taking a suppressor.
Use the 10/22 to clear out your hiding spot every day from the roof. That's just for weapons, of course. I've never understood the point of a shotgun in these mental masturbation threads... if you're going to fantasize about what you would have handy for a zombie outbreak, you might as well get things that are USEFUL, accurate, which do not attract OTHER zombies through loud noise, etc. |

http://www.papermashmusic.com/filess/Jan/4/glow-stick.jpg I'm pretty sure he means chem light. I don't know why you wouldn't think they'd be useful in a survival situation. Granted I'd rather have more AA batteries to run my bright ass but multimode LED light, but I'm sure they could come in handy. |

Breaking open a chem light for use as a condiment achieves much the same effect.

Many are just sick of hearing "zombie" every time some cocksucker in Florida bites someone. It's played out. |
