Booth.

Just don't sit on the same side as your buddy if it's only the two of you eating.

Get booth.

3/10/2012 1:55:02 PM EDT

Table... my house doesn't have wheels

Table. Don't like fat rude people bouncing back and forth against the backrest and slamming me or my wifes back.

Depends on who I'm dining with. A wimmenz....booth. Mens....table.
3/10/2012 2:04:18 PM EDT

The fatter people get the more they love the booth.  We go to one restaurant where people will actually wait for a booth and we walk right in and take a table with no wait.

Booth is more comfy AND easier on those who CCW.

This is what made me start the thread. We always ask for a booth. Got a table last night and my gun hip felt really exposed. Especially as people walked near the table. Didn't help that the chair was shaped weird and was pushing on the grip. Or that it was a full size (g17).

Table with real chairs and plenty of room.

Truth.

Proper restaurants don't have booths.

As are most voters in this poll.
I'm not snooty enough to peruse an eatery that does not contain some booths.

Table. I'm short and my feet don't reach the floor in many booths.

table, can be used as a diversion, or as temporary cover should something happen. Some places booths are mounted to the wall.

Table. If shit goes down it leaves me the option of doing my tactical barrel roll from the left or right.

Table.

Like being able to decide how far I sit from it all by myself.

That and elbow room.

Really?

I have seen booths where I can barely fit between the seatback and the "table", and I'm not "overweight".

Table!!!

Did you eat at a booth growing up?
Human beings sit at a table to eat.

Yeah, Actually I did!  My folks had a pretty cool breakfast nook in the house I grew up in.  We only ate at the table when we had guests over.

Either works for me but I prefer a table.
Firstly it's more civilized, secondly if you end up on the outside of a booth you continually are interrupted by the insiders that need to get out and I don't want to be locked on the inside of a booth...

Booth

If I'd wanted to eat at a table I would've stayed home.

Well, I didn't think of that.
Breakfast nook FTW!!!!

Table.

Booth you only get a lap dance. Table you get the happy ending.

Edit... We're not talking about the same thing are we???

booth with my right side on the inside.
the GF knows this and gives me that side without tthinking about it

Being one of the fatter people I can tell you I'm more comfortable at a table than a booth.
3/10/2012 4:24:27 PM EDT

I prefer a table, because I can generally get a better view of the restaurant and see what's going on around me.  My wife chooses where we sit though, so we sit in booths.

[#45]
What is a "booth"? It sounds ghastly.
3/10/2012 4:52:00 PM EDT

Table, I hate the feeling of being trapped in a booth especially if someone is sitting on my side.

Strong side in. That way I don't have to worry about my carry piece peeking out.
