CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - According to police, a Cabot teacher was arrested after inappropriate contact with a student. Police say they've arrested Stacy Stracener for 11 counts of first degree sexual assault, and two counts of second degree sexual assault. Police say the arrest happened after a report was taken last week that Stracener had inappropriate contact with a male student. According to the school's website, Stracener is a science teacher at Cabot Junior High North. Stracener had a court appearance Tuesday. Today's THV has learned that a judge set a $25,000 bond, plea and arraignment. Stracener will return to court on March 12. |

Totally different animal having sex with a teenage girl....who is almost never capable of adult sex without emotional issues. Teenage boys are capable sex with anything - people, their hands, pastries, without much attachment at all. Have grown up sex with a teenage boy, he feels like a man. Might even start acting more like one. Have sex with a teenage girl? She's a blubbering mess, in love, scarred. I suppose it's like prosecuting two people for theft - both are guilty - but one stole a Porsche from a neighbor who restored it, and the other stole some dog shit from the city pound. Same crime, but in terms of impact? Well, hell, you might argue the latter did more good than harm. Relieving boys of destructive sexual energy is doing God's work. But, yeah, she should probably not be employed there anymore. It should be an outpatient thing, IMHO. |
