I got the letter last night saying that I would get my census in a week.  In theory I want to be like you but I don't know yet.

My form was hand delivered last week, filled out, and sent in.

Guess what, guys....guess what the questions pertained to on the form?

The number of people in your house, and their age.

No gun shit, no nothing......but the amount of people in your home.

Last census there were several versions of the form.  One asked income, sex, age, just about everything you could think of.

I think I'll be on the safe side and make sure to send an inventory list of all my firearms, along with their serial numbers and combos to my safes and locked cases, so they can verify if need be.

For those who are claiming that only # of residents is required by the Constitution, is this accurate?

13 U.S.C. § 221 : US Code - Section 221: Refusal or neglect to answer questions; false answers

The form for this year:
http://2010.census.gov/2010census/how/interactive-form.php

vs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1790_United_States_Census

The information found in the 1790 census is as follows. Columns, left to right:

  1. Name of head of family
  2. Number of free white males 16 and up, including heads of families
  3. Number of free white males under 16
  4. Number of free white females including heads of families
  5. Number of all other free persons, except Indians not taxed
  6. Number of slaves

.
Seems to be inline with the very first census except the slaves..
