Being a Illinois resident, I made it a point to buy as much as possible from RRA. I was proud to support them. Their products are outstanding.
I feel betrayed and I am pissed.. They better have a damn good explanation..... Because at this point, I will never buy from them again. All my business will be moving to PSA. Further.... I will be talking to everyone I can about it. I will also be talking about this on all forums. Also....I was a huge Springfield owner.... F them also. |

| I'm disappointed as well, as I own several RRA & SA products. I will wait patiently to hear their response, but this doesn't really look good. My question, though: I'm no rocket surgeon, but looking on Gurgle Maps, both Colona and Geneseo appear to be fairly close to the border of Iowa. I don't know spit about Iowa's political and economic climate, but why not just pull up stakes, relocate and publish a statement to the public saying "We'd rather re-locate at the expense of much inconvenience and many $$ than sell out the 2nd Amendment." Davenport is close enough most employees could even keep their jobs. Hell, even gun-friendly Indiana isn't that far away. Why not put out bids to such states that actually WANT your business? I'll bet South Carolina, Texas and a handful of other states would have thrown money at them to assist in relocating. Doing so may have actually resulted in increased sales, lower overall taxes, etc. |
