Well...How ironic.

I talked to Ed Sr tonight as I was kicking his ass at poker and he asked about coming for a shoot. He asked about when the next one was, I told him late next month. I knew it was too soon for him (He JUST moved into his new house) but, he said he will definately make on soon.

BTW - I should be in for the weekend.

Friday firewood delivery for sure...... don't know on the rest of the weekend yet.

The older son (11) will likely tag along..... he says he's ready to shoot some bigger stuff than his 22s.... or in his own words....."I've decided I'm not going to be such a pussy anymore" lol I don't usually approve of that kind of lingo from my kids, but I sure liked hearing that line!

Hopefully Spider Firearms will have my bolt redone in plenty of time for my BMG to make an appearance, this time functional. I can always hope, but I wont hold my breath.

I'd like to attend for Saturday and Sunday. This will be my first LCR. I'll be bringing a SKS and Saiga .308 if that's alright.

Right on RS! Better it came from his mouth than mine.

Too cool Cav, he'd get a real charge out of that, since he already is in awe of the mighty 50. Most of our firearm conversations end on that note for some reason..... but maybe if I was 11, they'd start on that note too.

I'll volunteer now to provide an additional guide in to the pit on Friday night, for those who can't make the meet up time. I can go earlier or later than whenever the main group is headed in.

As we get closer, those who need it can IM me and we'll organize from there. (Not yet, I'm NOT a planner!)

My bad, it was late (or early, I'm not quite sure), and the entrance was kinda close to the cliff wall, on the left side (as you're facing it).
