I will be looking for a stripped lower at the Crossroads Gun Show this weekend.  I read a couple positive reports about lowers made here in Arizona but do not recall which ones were being discussed.  If you have some info on good lowers that I migh pick up let me know.  I have used several in the past with good results, but I don't want to buy one that might not line up with the upper of have other issues.  I can look at the finish, but what else should I know?

I do have one of the original CAC-15 (long polymer) lowers bought back during an Arfcom group buy offer a few years ago  It is still serving me well thank you.

Next I want a traditional aluminum lower that can use any of the multitude of stocks on the market and would prefer it not to be caliber specific in case I decide to go 6.8 or another 9mm, or ??.  This will be for a future build and I like to get them local as to avoid the FFL transfer expense if I order one.

I've purchased a half dozen or so Stag lowers through Dynamic Armament (SP) at shows and haven't had a single issue with any of them and i think I've paid right around $100-$105 each for them.

Thanks, I have gotten Magpul stocks and a Timney trigger, etc. from Dynamic Arm. as well, seem like good folks as well as fair prices, but I never noticed they had lowers..

I would have to agree.  I just picked one up today in Brown from AGP.
The LOP is perfect for a carbine.  A1 length I beleive.  It's light as hell and durable too.  Fits tight on the upper and is available in colors.
You're not going to beat the price either.  Collapsible stocks are cool, but I find myself only using 1 or 2 positions any how.  KISS
CavAid 2008 baby!

AGP still has a few BTW.

They were out of LPK's.
They still had a few black, brown, and green MKII lowers.  I was there today.
Call them or stop in.

I saw a pic of the Cavarms owner swapping spit with Al Gore. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just thought you'd like to know.

Me too, but I thought you weren't making the aluminum lowers right now. (Wait that's the CAV-15A)  Or has this changed?

Kevin has a few of the Cav-Aid 2008 lowers left (CAV-15 Mk II).  Black, Coyote, and Olive last I checked. (I bought an olive one)

The AZ armory lowers look really nice though.

Sun Devil lowers are my favorite and are made in Mesa.  They are heavy duty and have a hidden tension screw.  Top quality!

Specialized Armament carries them. They're not advertised, but they'll sell you one if you ask.
