| I was wondering about the magazine compatibility of the different CZ 9mm models. I understand there is a 14rd mag for the compact, 16rd for the standard 75 and 85, then the SP-01 has a 19rd mag. I was wondering if the compact models could fit and shoot with a 19rd mag or a standard 16rd mag and could the standard 75 use the 19rd magazines. My assumption is that they are all compatible except the P-07 compact 16rd which I have heard was wider. So what is the compatibility? |

the compact mag is SHORTER. therefor will not be able to feed any ammo in the LONGER/FULL SIZE pistols. You can use the LONGER/FULL SIZE Mags in the SHORTER pistol tho.
as far as the FULL SIZE guns go, they are swappable either way with other FULL SIZE guns. the P 07 is a new size/design mag and afaik will not fit anything but a P07 |

With t he exception of the P-07, all the 9mm CZ-75s use what is basically the same magazine, kind of like 9mm Glocks.
Obviously, the shorter subcompact (RAMI) and compact (compact, P-01) magazines will not fit in the longer grips of the larger guns, but the longer mags will fit in the shorter guns. The SP-01 magazine is the same as the CZ-75/85 magazine, except it has a 3/8" thick plastic baseplate. It really only holds 18 rounds. So the full size CZ-75s all take the same mags, the P-01, Compact, PCR all take the "compact" mags, and the subcompact RAMIs take the same mags. The P-07 isn't really a CZ-75, despite the name. It uses a different lockup and is really a totally different design, but it uses "Omega" trigger components. The P-07 uses a magazine of it's own design. |
