A co-worker of mine paid in excess of $2200 for what was essentially a Del-Ton kit rifle....I have heard a couple of high price horror stories some that seem hard to believe but who knows...

My friend sold a NIB Colt 6940 for $3500.  He purchased it for $1400.

I sold 20 Pmags for $50 each.  I bought them for $10 each plus free shipping from Brownell's just 2 weeks before the mayhem.  I also sold a case of CCI mini mags for 5 times what I bought them for.

He sold them in Texas, I believe.

A few people I know paid $99 for EACH Pmag they bought. They just couldn't wait...... My order from DSG came to my door 2 weeks after theirs finally came in.

I didn't did so bad; i bought too much ammo, that's for sure.  I definitely bought more than I needed to thinking there would be several months of dry spell.  I paid $17 per box for 9mm at some point i'm sure.  I paid $519 for a G26 that I could have bought 90 days prior for $467 shipped from an online retailer.  That said, I did manage to sell my SUB 2000 for $300 more than I paid.

I know someone that sold 9 lower receivers, purchased at $85 each for $300 each.  In a manner similar to a gambling addict, he promptly spent the cash, and then some, on more guns and ammo.

I paid $.50 per round for IMI M855

But the real tragedy is I didn't sell everything. I started the year with well over 50k rounds of ammo and too many guns. Doh!

I am ashamed to admit that I bought 30 Pmags for a stupid price of $10 each when before the panic I probably could have gotten them for $9 each shipped.  Stupid panic buy.

I sold a DPMS franken-gun that I had put together from $400 worth of used parts to a dealer at a gun show in January. He paid me $1600, pretty pathetic. I have no regrets.

I know of one guy who paid $1400 for 40 PMAGS on gunbroker.  I know because I sold them.  Funny this is that he wasn't even from a state that was in any danger of them being banned.

I'm still kicking myself for not selling 5.56 for $1+/rd.  Could have replaced the ammo and added several nice guns.

I prepared well in advance, therefore, I bought nothing at those ridiculous prices.

I did sell quite a few things to those less prepared and in full-on panic mode.

Those things sold, have now been replaced for much less that I originally purchased the first time around.

You all know the saying, "Buy Cheap and Pile Deep." Get busy.

A coworker paid $2,500.00 for a Bushmaster Patrolman at a gun show just before things went full retard. I tried to tell him I could find a different brand for around 1200.he kept saying  "I wanted a Bushmaster, that's the rifle they are going to ban".

He also picked up 500 rounds of ammo for it. I was afraid to ask about that.

HK P7M8's were selling for $3200 on Gunbroker.
I never saw any bans on them discussed anywhere. I did pull that pistol out of my wife's purse and gave her a G19 to carry instead. No way was I going to risk her losing a 3K gun.

I sold 2 FDE 20 rd Pmag's for $45 a piece. Guy was stoked he got 2 for 90.
