Well?
I am a glock basher only because they do not fit my hand. Other then that they are a great gun. But why no longslide 45 acp? Anyone? CH |
I thought they made one.
Same here on the b!tch hands...A Glock grip is too fat for my hands. |
A longslide Glock in .45ACP or 10mm would be the only Glocks I'd be interested in.
Sorry no bitch hands here, I work for a living! Just shitty grip angle. |
It's suppose to be released at the same time as the carbine. Didn't you hear?
I have very, very large hands (and feet) so I love the big Glock M-21.
I wish they would bring the 17Tactical that they sell in Sweden over here. It already has the threaded bbl, bigger slide stop, and +2's on the mags!!
A long slide Glock made to large a percentage of the gun metal. It was unacceptable.
Huh? |
what he said. Leave it to Cape to post about a longslide Glock in .45. That would be truly cool. I'de be on that like stink on Jennings. Mark. |
It was a joke. |
Jokes need grammar too. |
Ohh!!
I try to use the "I'm just fuckin' around" smiley when doing that... Thats just what I do though... This is the one I use. YMMV. Mark. |
Glock makes factory 6 inch barrels in 10mm. I don't know about 45, but I'm sure someone makes them or can make them...
A long slide Glock would result in the ratio of metal to plastic being grossly in favor of metal. This was deemed unacceptable by the company. |

You can get after market slides and barrels in 10 or 45 and make one yourself. I agree though, one from the factory would be my next handgun purchase. I already have the 21 and enjoy shooting it, but a 6" version would be very nice.
Thank you. |

i got a buddy that has 2 of the long slide glocks. one in 9 the other in 40. i believe one of both are compensated also. |
Too. It's too not to. |
No factory long slide, Lone Wolf sells a 6" long slide for G-21, FYI.
Neither the g34 (9mm) or 35 (40 SW) are compensated. The top of the slide is cut out for better weight distribution, but the barrels are not comp'd. |

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but dayum that's an ugly critter. |
Lay off the drugs!! |
There is no .45 longslide because when they blow up in your hand it would be that much more metal flying around........it's a saftey issue. |
Must fit you like a glove |
thanks for the correction |
The reason is Gaston hates .45 ACP. He only VERY grudgingly makes guns in this caliber at all.
For evidence, see his abomination, the .45 GAP. |
I thought longslides were competition guns and that 9mm was easier to shoot in competition?
I know! I just put all the junk on it for a goofy pic. I sold the slide a few financial crunches ago. That Big Slide really tamed the .40 smith recoil. |
What will the G37, G38 & G39 be?
Rumors inside Glock, Inc., are that the G37 and the G38 will be the 9mm and .40 S&W equivalent of the G36. Also, there is talk of a G39 .45ACP Longslide for IPSC/IDPA. [JT] Back To Top |
The G36 is a single stack. |
I don't care if it looks like a lump of shit as long as it fires every time I pull the trigger, and as accurately as I'm able to. Now I hear they DO make pink and blue glock frames for the fashion conscious... |
