Well?

I am a glock basher only because they do not fit my hand. Other then that they are a great gun. But why no longslide 45 acp?

Anyone?

I thought they made one.

A longslide Glock in .45ACP or 10mm would be the only Glocks I'd be interested in.

I wish they would bring the 17Tactical that they sell in Sweden over here.  It already has the threaded bbl, bigger slide stop, and +2's on the mags!!

A long slide Glock made to large a percentage of the gun metal.  It was unacceptable.

Glock makes factory 6 inch barrels in 10mm. I don't know about 45, but I'm sure someone makes them or can make them...

There's no point when you have the XD45 tactical.

Yeah it's only a 5 incher but those of us with small penises and hands can actually grip this one.

A long slide Glock would result in the ratio of metal to plastic being grossly in favor of metal.  This was deemed unacceptable by the company.

You can get after market slides and barrels in 10 or 45 and make one yourself.  I agree though, one from the factory would be my next handgun purchase.  I already have the 21 and enjoy shooting it, but a 6" version would be very nice.

Neither the g34 (9mm) or 35 (40 SW) are compensated.  The top of the slide is cut out for better weight distribution, but the barrels are not comp'd.

There is no .45 longslide because when they blow up in your hand it would be that much more metal flying around........it's a saftey issue.

The reason is Gaston hates .45 ACP. He only VERY grudgingly makes guns in this caliber at all.

For evidence, see his abomination, the .45 GAP.

I know!  I just put all the junk on it for a goofy pic.  I sold the slide a few financial crunches ago.

That Big Slide really tamed the .40 smith recoil.

What will the G37, G38 & G39 be?
Rumors inside Glock, Inc., are that the G37 and the G38 will be the 9mm and .40 S&W equivalent of the G36. Also, there is talk of a G39 .45ACP Longslide for IPSC/IDPA. [JT]

I don't care if it looks like a lump of shit as long as it fires every time I pull the trigger, and as accurately as I'm able to.

Now I hear they DO make pink and blue glock frames for the fashion conscious...
