Warms the heart.
After Katrina, many young Israelis came to help the Jewish population rebuild homes, synagogues, etc. A good portion came to our synagogue and I became good friends with several. Most were fresh out of the IDF. One guy told us how he would talk shit(he spoke Arabic) to terrorists, location would be triangulated, and he would inform them they were soon going to die. He said on multiple occasions the towel heads shit talking stopped abruptly when a bomb got dropped on them. These young guys and gals were extremely nice and tough as nails. We spoke repeatedly about how the ROE's would prevent them from really taking it to them time and again. Their heart was most def. in the "I am ready to kick some ass and if I die fighting for my people, then so be it" mode. I have spoken with several friends in Yisrael and the attitude is still the same. My peeps be pissed. |
