Nice truck, passed one the other day. I like the single cab look and simplicity, BUT
I think the reason GD thinks trucks are so expensive (they are) is because of the options that they want. Crew cab is not a reg cab and most people need the extra room. The F150 I priced recently was $44k and the only options I cared about were 4x4, crew cab, and ecoboost. ETA: yeah that's not bad at all for a new 4x4! |

2wd, half ton is not a truck. It does nothing a truck does like haul or tow shit

Hmm, now I'm curious what a 4x4 will do in a quarter mile. Off to the internets

How much would I be looking at for those kind of things? I'd like to at least put a decent exhaust on it sometime. Regardless, for now I am emboldened from driving an econobox |

cool truck, now get some bumpers. The turds they put on trucks at the factory these days are ALL about cutting weight and improving aerodynamics. If you hit a Geo Metro at 15 mpg in that thing, you'll probably do $15k in damage, might even total it. With a real bumper, all you'll need is a couple kick 'zaps' of spray paint.

New 4X4 GMC super cabs advertised locally for 35K fairly loaded minus leather and power passenger seat.

I think you did Good.
You can buy (2) of those, or (1) F150. |

Damn dude, you're supposed to buy a vehicle with a huge payment and an insane interest rate while still in Tech School. Plus get married while you're at it.
You're doing it wrong. |

Had a 95 ram 1500, short bed 4x4 with the 360 v8 in it as my first truck.
Bad mistake. 3 transmissions later I sold it with 70k miles on it in 2004. Had an f150 for a bit, too small for what I need. Now an f250. If I was ever not going to go ford / diesel, I'd get a ram. As after looking at the new Chevy's I'd tear the DEF tank off in about 2-3 days tops. Bad engineering. |
|
and it's afrcom approved since they only get 87,000 miles before needing replacement.

So you bought a truck called the blackout and took a picture of it at night? |
