How do you know that the asshat was born in California?

The letter says that they moved from California but didn't mention that they were born here.

That makes them a ex-Californian and a current Washationian.

Last year about 190,000 people moved into California from other states and 120,000 moved out. That's a net gain of 70,000 Americans - figure about three to four times that in illegals came here. That means more Americans are moving into California than out of it. If they're coming from Washington State or Washington DC they're still coming in droves. I don't have access to figures which show inputs and outputs from each state but the odds are more people from Washington moved into California than the other way around ... but be facts and figures be damned.

We're building schools as fast as we can and they're popping at the gills. My city is cutting down orange groves and stamping cheap little four and five bedroom $450,000 homes as fast as they can get the work crews onto the next lot. The job market is hopping and not just with McJobs.

For the fact and math challenged.

I don't know have the figures for any year but last year - 120,000 Californian's moving. It came from a newpaper story about the large number of people moving out last year due to the huge profits they're making on their real estate sales here ... because more people are moving INTO California than are moving out. Supply and demand is causing the smaller number of existing homes to go up in price - about double or triple in the last three years. Those people are moving into California due to the thriving high-tech and other economies here.

So let's assume that all 120,000 people that left California last year moved only to Washington. That's impossible as we're also ruining Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona according those here but let's just pretend to make the haters feel better.

Since California is 54%/46% conservative - based on the 2004 election results that means that means that 64,800 liberals moved to Washington and 55,200 conservatives moved there or a difference of 9600 per year. Of course in the past California has been more conservative - Clinton took California with 51% in 1996 and 92, Bush won California twice and of course so did our own Ronald Reagan but let's use the 2004 results as they're the most liberal ones to help our haters.  

Now lets assume that every single one of those 120,000 were old enough to vote, that nobody under the age of 18 ever moves from California. The odds of that are impossible but I want to help our California hater as much as possible.

Now lets assume that every single one of those 120,000 people all register to vote and vote. Again the odds of that are impossible as about 25% of adult ever vote but again I'm helping the haters here.

So looking at the election results from 2004 for Washington I get this:

1,510,201 votes for the liberal Kerry
1,304,894 votes for the conservative Bush

or a difference of 205,312 votes on the liberal side.

Let's say that prior to the first California ever to move from California to Washtington the election results were perfectly 50/50%. Again that's impossible but I'm slewing the numbers as hard in the hate side as possible.

So that means that it would take 21 years and 4 months for Washington's election results to be slewed as badly as they are based on 100% of every Californian leaving California and moving to Washington, all of them being of voting age, every single one of them registering to vote, every one of them voting, and using the most liberal liberal numbers.
