Stupid fuck-tard, made me late to a sales appt.
Anyways, I am curious if there is any recourse to the driver, company etc to be fined by the EPA, ticketed by police and billed for clean-up cost? \ he made our major overpass and highway extra crispy - i assume structural engineers will need to assess the damage? is that rebar hanging down? |
|
Why would he be fined by the EPA for Ethanol?
The trucking company will have to pay for cleanup costs and damages. The driver will probably be ticketed. |

That bridge is toast.
Commuters in that area are about to get bent over. |

I'll bet every chainsaw and mower carb in the county just shit the bed.
|
|
|
Well that sucks he did in on the newer concrete sections of 270 too, I was that exact spot 2 years ago doing some of the final work for them to open that section before the 4th
|

Trucks roll over all the time on that ramp to 270 North off of I-70. Rapid slow down to a 25 mph curve that really is 25 mph or you go over.
I bet at least 5 to 6 rollovers there per year. |
|
Of course it just happens beneath the overpass. That is going to be one expensive boo-boo to fix.

This is God's way of reminding us that we should be drinking it, not using it for fuel.

There was a pedestrian bridge hit in CLE a few years ago by a dump truck. I think the trucking company went out of business and the bridge has never been rebuilt. |

That's gonna be exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxpensive.......... But ODOT is pretty good, compared to other state highway departments. I expect they'll be on this hard and fast, like AL a few years back when a major junction in Birmingham got melted by a fuel tanker accident. They had a contractor working 24 hours per day and they had the old brings out in days and a new bridge up in a couple of months. Plus the contractor finished early and got millions for doing that. Financial incentives and the ability to make emergency contracts can see great things done. Too bad that I live in a state where "emergency repairs" take years and not a state where they know how to manage emergency situations. |

The truck will be looked at with a microscope. Any equipment defect will result in a fine. Yes, they can usually tell if equipment was bad prior to the oopsie. |

I just drove through that intersection yesterday.
Columbus traffic is difficult on a good day. I can't imagine what it's going to be like with that intersection closed for repairs. |
