What do you all think? I've been considering a suppressor for .45 ACP/9mm/.22LR, but am hesitant to invite .Gov into my life.

I'm a white, middle-class, registered-republican male with a concealed handgun license. I'm already at the top of their list.
|
|
Nah don't get one, it isn't worth the hassle. Least that is how they want you to feel.

The U.S. needs to remove cans from the "destructive device" list. I have heard rumor some EU countries allow cans as a health improvement measure for sports shooters.

My 22 ss sparrow is the greatest thing to ever happen to me, but seriously don't hesitate

I have forgotten what it's like to shoot unsuppressed. It's so much more pleasant with cans.

Worth it.
If they're keeping lists, I'm on one already. If they're not, no worries. Either way my plans regarding attempted confiscation are already set. |
|
OP, if that's the best wording you can do on your poll, don't bother with a suppressor.

Being on the list should not scare you (you are already on a list anyway). It's the size of the list that scares them.

If they ever show up at my door I will happily show them the appropriate paperwork and the can with the corresponding serial number. Then ask if everything is in order, then say have a nice day and close my front door. Not worried about it at all.

Bury your gunshow purchased AK slathered in cosmoline in a PVC tube in your back yard with three loaded mags and it won't matter what list you're on.

A suppressed rimfire pistol is my favorite shooter. I run about 300-400 rounds per month through mine.
Totally worth the cost and hassle. |
