What the Christ you savages! A man is away from his desk for 10 minutes, comes back to add to cart and they are GONE already!

Wait, we're not still mad at Spike's and CTD? What gives?

I'm looking forward to some kick ass deals in the EE in about 6-8 months when people realize the economy still sucks that those 5 extra rifles/BCGs/parts that they ordered would be better converted into cash to pay bills.

I've got a colt BCG I'll sell RIGHT NOW for $500.00
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 11:29:30 AM EST
PSA restocked their blem lowers yesterday afternoon. I logged in this morning and they were sold out.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 11:30:58 AM EST
I bought 2 brand new spike's stripped lowers a few months ago for 78 a pop on a group buy from elsewhere. Still untouched. Did I do the right thing?

I got mine.

Have been wanting to get them for a while though.

I got a batch of BCM BCG's coming my way this week
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 11:32:25 AM EST
Like squirrels scrambling to find nuts after the first frost.

I've missed out on three different "email me when in stock" deals on Spikes BCG's. You literally have to be sitting in front of your computer when the email comes and order that sucker without thinking twice, or you lose out.

It's a beech.

Same here. Untimely panic buying is a rookie mistake,
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 11:45:52 AM EST
with all the palmettos sold without guts i expect bolt carrier groups to be scarce for quite some time

i bought a bunch for just that reason and just sold OP my one spare/spare

the rest will probably get sold too along with those gutless uppers. baby on the way, dishwasher broke and the soon-to-be wife wants new flooring

she still has to let me turn one into a pink AR though, so i've got that going for me...

Course, I say that and I did buy one of the $59 blem lowers PSA sold on Nov 5th.

But that wasn't a panic buy, I've decided I want to put together both a 20" rifle and a 10.5" pistol (eventual SBR), so I needed another lower. Good deal came along, so I bit.

Lol funny seeing you here. This will be my first chrome and DD bcg. Better be as good as the Spikes!

I bought a pair of PSA BCGs yesterday and I don't even really need them right now but I've got another build in mine so I think at least one of them will find a home. That leaves one spare.

Wonder why they sold out so fast?

On a completely unrelated note, there was a spike in the sale of band-saws.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 12:22:35 PM EST
Why don't you go to Brownells and just backorder them? That way you have a place in line for when they come in.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 12:23:37 PM EST
First post as usual, it's uncanny really.....

Oh, and I just remembered I had two PSA Premium BCGs tucked under the seat of my car when I went to the shop today. Tried selling them for months at MSRP thinking I'd replace then when they got more in stock, but everyone was more interested in whining about the shortage than they were in actually building their rifles.

Pro Tip:

Buy early and often…

Link Posted: 11/13/2012 12:42:20 PM EST
I don't understand why anyone would want to buy from Spikes in the first place.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 1:03:57 PM EST
bravo company is in stock

move quickly

I'm betting that a lot of these manufacturers have lots of parts in stock and are laughing all the way to the bank.

Not in stock now - Stock Status:(Out of Stock)
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 2:38:50 PM EST
wow...

having spent a few minutes searching the web, looks like lots of sites are sold out of the bcg's.

I did find one place that had lmt bcg's, f/a and s/a in stock for a good price.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 2:44:30 PM EST
Global Tactical says they have some. I bought parts from them with good luck.

Can anyone elaborate?

I just ordered a Core myself and hope its ok. Have a Spikes on B/O with Brownells, but have no idea when it'll be instock. The Core seems like a good price for our current situation. If anything, I'll just use it as a spare.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 8:16:18 PM EST
Did Brownells get there order in, that is what matters.

I have one on backorder through them.
Link Posted: 11/13/2012 8:20:27 PM EST
Fuck Spike's, get one from BCM.
Link Posted: 11/15/2012 8:34:05 AM EST
FYI: Core-15 has another 299 BCGs back instock. I ordered one from them a few days ago, and still waiting for it to arrive so I can't comment on it yet. I did a search and found MicroBest is who Core says make their BCGs. I assume from what I've read Micro Best is GTG.
