Is there a side folding adapter for the SBA3 for this by chance?
|
|
Huh. I just saw one of these guns for the first time a week or two back at a local gun shop not knowing anything about them.
I’ll have to dig deeper into this thread. |

You can fit a UTG stock adaptor to a tube and mount the SBA3 on it, or you can get the SIG M-4 stock adapter that will fit on the Safety Harbor pic-rail rear end. Registered SBR? Can we see the stock or brace you have on that? If it's still just a pistol, don't put a VFG on it, or else the ATF will claim it's an AOW. I know, stupid interpretation, but hey, it's the ATF. An angled foregrip is acceptable. Of course, they change their minds with the blowing of the wind, so... Glad you got the Geissele trigger to work, but not so happy about the magazine being unreliable. Please send me an IM with what the issues with it are, and if they go away with use. I will pass them to Jaro. https://i.imgur.com/ZomxPZIl.jpg Stock was mounted using a modified Scorpion EVO brace adapter. Well that’s interesting. I wonder what Eagle is going to do with all the spare parts they had listed?
Either way I ordered a P40 in 10mm this afternoon to add to the GP collection. |

Due to some confusion on my part about the A3 action, I had asked Jaro whether it was roller locked, or dual mass. In ARFCOM fashion, GET BOTH! It is dual mass, which already slows things down a mite, and when the second mass recoils, its retracts the rollers. When it goes back into battery, it extends the rollers. Cool, huh?

Anyone know what the price differences between the A1 and A3 are in Europe? Trying to decide if I want to wait for the A3 or just get the non-recip drop in.
Eagle imports sure seem like solid guys, but as this divorce finishes up, it’s kinda making sense why Grand Power is choosing to go a separate direction. Sometimes brands get neglected if an importer’s portfolio is huge. They are probably going to get a lot more attention at Global Ordinance, instead of competing with brands like Bersa in getting their distributor’s attention. |
|
Thank you for reminding me. I forgot to mention that Jaro says the A3 will cost about 200 dollars more, but SHOULD still come in under the magic 1000 dollar number. That, of course, is up to Global Ordnance, their distributors, and what the market will bear.
One thing about the portfolio: I went to the GO website and saw how many brands they carry. It's quite a few. |

I finally got to handle one today and will say, seems to be well made. I didn't care for the bolt release as much, hopefully an aftermarket one will be available soon (cough, cough HBI, cough, cough).
Local shop had one new on sale for $600, normally $749. May have to go back to get it tomorrow, not sure yet. |

Just read on Stribog owners group on Facebook that they are almost complete with metal reinforced feed lip magazines, hopefully we see those this year

Quoted: Lol. Please, by all means. How is it much better made? Be specific. Shot one a couple weeks ago and want an A3 of my own, so not knocking the gun. But I hardly think it's "much better made" than anything from CZ. View Quote Just IMHO: Better trigger. Better safety. Softer recoil. Greater accuracy. Better fit and finish.!I prefer the CZ’s sights, although, the Stribog’s aren’t bad. I like that the CZ comes stock with a handstop. But I way, way prefer the Stribog handgaurd. Sleek, aluminum, and with M-lok, vs CZ’s over-Picatinny’d plastic monstrosity. |

went in search for one of these and found one. Ordered the Safety Harbor adapter and trying to find sig minimalist stock. I started my Form 1 on her and will finish it tomorrow and submit. It should make an interesting SBR but I think there will need to be some work go down to get it 922 compliant.
I am thinking for US parts: HBI Bolt with non reciprocal charging handle Safety Harbor rear trunnion Larue or Big G trigger group Sig Stock |

If they get the delayed blowback A3 within $100 of the CZ they will smoke the market.

The Scorpion mag would also be a good choice since the Stribog is not constrained by a through-grip magwell. Personally, I'd love to see the burgeoning PCC industry begin to coalesce around B&T's for straight-stick or through-grip designs, and Scorpion mags for curved stick/drum needs (we also need a Scorpion drum, obviously). Glock mags are simply too crummy a compromise for this application to be the default option for so many designers, and while the Stribog mag may be good, it certainly doesn't hold any advantage over the Steyr/B&T pattern (unless it's just B&T being dicks about licensing or something). Get Magpul to make a B&T pattern mag, and I don't think anyone would be dissapointed to use it in their gun designs; but since they are making Scorp mags today, that'd be the smart play for a mag compatibility change. |
