Two day workweek and a five day weekend.
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 8:41:49 AM EST
Six-day weekend for me....today is my Friday. Should be nice. Get to see my college-age sons and making a bourbon run after work tonight. OSU-Michigan game on Saturday.

Next Monday, however, will be a bitch.

1.5 day week. Totally unexpected
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 8:49:07 AM EST
Yup.
Im burning a vacation day Friday and taking Saturday off. 4 days off sure beats 1.
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 8:49:23 AM EST
Looking forward to the 4 day weekend. I also normally work from home on Wednesday, so it will be closer to a 5 day weekend. Won't be getting much done that day.
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 9:01:55 AM EST
I am looking at a five day week, but I usually work six days a week.

It must have paid out because you now seem to spend all day surfing ARF while your aides do all the work

4.5 day weekend here, with a half day on Wed. Looking forward to it.

Out after tomorrow here.
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 9:55:06 AM EST
Wednesday here also. That's been the pheasant hunting day with my son now for the past 6 years. Hunt the morning, come home for lunch and (if it snows) to dry out, then head back out for some bunnies. Look forward to it every year!

This week will be the worse of all.
Laying out 3 editions of the paper at the same time. Oh joy.

This,

Courts are closed (or goofing off...) insurance companies are closed. Anyone with "Esq" after their name is gone (or surfing Arfcom?) Nothing is getting done this week.

What is this your first year being employed? Yeah we sort of celebrate a holiday where we eat lots of food and see a James Bond movie. We do this at Xmas too.

I've worked manufacturing and retail jobs where I had to work on the holiday. Not everyone gets a four day weekend at Thanksgiving.

3 day here also BUT holding my breath. A lot of WTF can happen till then.
Link Posted: 11/19/2012 10:15:39 AM EST
I leave Wednesday at 10 AM to be back Sunday night at 11PM.

In between, I'll drive about 1000 miles.

That's the most time "off" I've had in almost 7 months.

We traded veterans day for the day after thanksgiving off. Damn liberal university I work for.

Mine is two and a half days, but only because I'm staff duty officer for 24 hours starting Tuesday morning. After that I'm free until Monday, unless one of my soldiers gets in trouble.

Still in the process of moving and my wife needs to be able to spend time with her parents, I don't get any vacation days until next year in a new job.

No idea. All I know is that there is not five fucking seconds of my life that is sacred.

Planning is for faggots. At least I don't have to work with faggots.
