UPDATE: Sunday, 4/7/7:36 AM We roll today! Y'all stay tuned for photos of Prentiss on her journey to her new home! ETA: Drivers have named the op!  I would like to request prayers for safe easy travel for our drivers, and an easy journey for our Prentiss. Thank you so much, everyone! UPDATE!!! This could happen as early as tomorrow if Prentiss had a ride from Chattanooga to Nashville! If it doesn't, maybe we can put it together for next weekend. But we have a member going from Nashville to southern IL on Sunday evening! If that's the case, we just need the leg to Nashville covered! Drivers needed, Update: *Spuddicus has volunteered to cover North Georgia! Thank you @Spuddicus ! Everyone, this is Prentiss. She was pregnant and scheduled to be euthanized, but Mark/Joker1 spoke from Heaven to Jordan (yep, I believe our Mark does that sometimes) and said, "Nope." And Jordan took her in. Then Jordan posted Prentiss's story in THIS thread and @Cordwood started reading aloud to his wife about Prentiss. Mrs Cordwood said, "NOPE, , she's coming home to us!" And now Prentiss's pups are all weaned and she is ready to go HOME to Cordwood and Mrs. Cordwood!  Here are the routes suggested by Google.  Folks in Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois (or maybe Indiana if we need to go that way) LET'S ROLL!!!! Let's make Mark proud once again! Can we get Prentiss to her Forever home? Pics of Prentiss's puppies! She was a good mama, but her work is done, and it's time for her to have the life she was meant to live! Thank you so much, in advance, to anyone who can drive, or can help keep this thread bumped, so others see it!   Someone reminded me to put the donation link in, for those who are not able to drive but would like to support Prentiss's journey! You all have come through for us in the past few weeks, for our license and insurance costs, and we want to say a huge THANK YOU for that support. Bump, Tn, lets get some volunteers. Chattanoogs has been the easiest for me on first leg with northwestbound pups. Tell me where she needs to be in Tn for a volunteer to step up. Kitties, you generally have a first leg volunteer here. Unless i have prior commitments, I have no issues getting the dog moving in the right direction. If the route ends up going the proposed western side through Paducah and up into IL, I think I can take a leg. Pretty sure Cordwood participated in a handoff we were involved in last year with Loki. Now he is going to be a recipient! I'll watch this thread for updates and the final route. |

So....we COULD go as far west as Paducah, and we will, if that's where the drivers are. Notice on the map, I think that's 24 that runs right up the middle, through Clarksville and straight up through Illinois. So it goes a little to the East of Paducah. @CentralScrutinizer what do you propose? If we got her to Paducah, can you go north from there? Or if we got her to Clarksville, can you go down there and bring her back across the river? We should get folks seeing this over the weekend, so I'm just trying to get a sense of what's possible for people. |

He has offered to keep Prentiss through the eclipse, and then bring her all the way. But if it wasn't too late Sunday night, that would obviously be awesome too. I'm concerned that if he leaves Nashville Sunday EVENING, it would be very, very late when Prentiss arrives home, putting drivers out in the middle of the night. |
