You are aware that Congress makes the laws and the President just enforces them right?  A reading of the Constitution will validate this.  We all need to keep a close watch on the Congressional races, that's where the real money is at.  If we can get a good Congress out of the deal, BHO being Pres doesn't matter too much.  Osama would sign an AWB quick, but he can't if Congress never sends him one.  Keep that in mind.  

I think Congress might flip over again too, seeing how they have a 20% approval rating and they were basically elected to end Iraq and lower gas prices and we're still in Iraq, and gas prices doubled.

Man I'm glad you have faith in the american people, because I sure don't.  Almost everyone I talk too is just saying gimmie, gimmie, gimmie, and Hussein is playing their tune.  Look at the masses of people who are just mesmeriszed by his speaches and he doesn't really say anything.  And most of those people aren't left wing loones.  Americans aren't motivated anymore.  We sit and wait on things to just fall in our lap.  Just like now with all of the government programs.  People don't want to work or they don't want to cut out other parts of their lifestyle to get health insurance so they will now let the government take care of them.  And when I watch Hussein's speaches I just can't believe all of the naive white people just worshiping him.  He could look right at them and say white people suck, (which he pretty much has already) and they would still worship him.

How do you know he hates White people?  Has he thrown up a Black power fist in the middle of a speech while shouting, "Kill whitey!! Black rage!!!"  No, he hasn't.  I think maybe you're basing that assumption on the beliefs of some of the people he has been associated with over the years.  Do you guys really not have any friends who believe any differently than you?  You have the same opinion on everything?  How the hell would you even have a conversation with someone like that?  There would be no feedback or debate.  

Why the hell is it that people on both sides of this election seem to think we're electing a king?  Its like you guys seem to think that based on the President alone we'll have unilateral gun bans, abortion clinics on every corner, fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

The President doesn't have that kind of power.  I'm sorry, he just doesn't.  He can't slip a bill into law without Congress, the only real power he has is his veto and anything he might issue as a Presidential Directive.  If the bill is unconstitutional, the Supreme Court will strike it down; eventually.  If the Directive is bad, it'll be reversed by the next President.

Guys, try and keep a level head.  Even if Obama wins the election, its not the end of the world.
