good riddance. prince was a fucking asshole.
Remember this: http://www.spin.com/2013/03/prince-smashed-someone-elses-guitar-fallon/ Prince didn’t just metaphorically destroy his two-for-one set on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week (March 1), he literally destroyed his guitar. At the time we thought that a was pretty awesome thing to do. But, as it turns out, the gorgeous 1961 Epiphone Crestwood wasn’t his, and thus the act wasn’t awesome. It was way shitty.
According to Death and Taxes, the ax was a loaner from house band guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas. After eyeing it during rehearsal, Prince asked to borrow it for the live show and because Prince gets what Prince wants, Douglas obliged. The rest is history. The Purple One went to town on his 1979 sex jam “Bambi,” ending the song by throwing off the guitar and letting it crash onto the stage. |

I don't think it was drug related, but many people of interest and merit were drug addicts. Churchill and Grant abused alcohol and tobacco. Lots of opium abuse one hundred years ago. Some people are just more vulnerable to drugs.

Its depressing to think of someone dieing at a young age, like 57. But it happens everyday, it just happened to my mom last Nov. at the age of 60.
I don't think it should be the front page of news, but it is a reflection of the people in this country. |

According to Gavin Mcinnis, Prince had AIDS. He claims his wife's connections is where this confidential information is coming from; not sure I buy the 'Flu' angle either.

I will wait to see if an autopsy provides a factual reason. The flu angle may have been disinformation.
This morning GMA had a tribute at the beginning of the show. After about a minute, I just turned off the TV. Not worth watching. |

By default, anytime a "star" suffers an untimely death at a young age, I assume right away that the cause of death was overdose.
My wife yesterday: "They said he had the flu and sent him home. The poor guy died ata home." Me: "Um yeah....overdosing with a respiratory infection is a real killer," |

It could be an OD from a mixture of prescription meds. He had hip problems that he refused to get surgery for so it could be a medication interaction that killed him.
