Has to last you until you die. Hunting, self defense, carry, or whatever else.
Ar-10 20' with a Schmidt & Bender 4x-16x, trijicon red dot on top. Smith and Wesson M&P 9 with a streamlight tlr-2. Whats everyone else go for? |
|
Quoted:
a .38 and a 10/22 Hi-Point C9 and Carbine, for ammo compatibility yo |
|
I'll go one step further and pick two that I actually own:
CZ75 (that's the original model, not the B) 11.5" AR w/ Aimpoint CompM2 |
|
Robinson XCR 6.8 SPC SBR with a 5.56 conversion kit and spare parts topped off with a Comp M4S for the easy to find AA battery
Glock 19 |
|
Right now I guess I'd have to say:
One of my .45 1911s and my 6.8 SPC AR. |
|
M4 Mid- Length w/ ACOG
Springfield Armory Professional Model 1911-A1 Springfield Custom |
|
Plain Jane Colt 6520 Government Carbine.
Colt Combat Commander XSE 1911. |

How would yall that are going with 5.56 rifles hunt? I understand its possible, especially with the tiny deer on the east coast, but if you only had one rifle to do everything you wouldn't want a slightly larger round?

Rounds are often limited to .270 dia or higher. |

I would keep my dad's old bolt action Western Field 30-06, and a .357 magnum revolver.

I think a 140g 6.5x55 is about the smallest thing I would attempt on a bear. ( east coast black bears) |

We have Buffalo in NY, they get loose from the Indians once in awhile... and have you ever run into a Moose sparky? |

Ok, ok, we don't have moose or big bears here, and our deer are the size of golden retrievers. Have fun lugging all that .308!
