So from what I am reading, the site can now have a 100 page thread (as opposed to the 40 page limit in the past)
Already there have been a few attempts to get one going (just for the hell of it, to test the theory)
My guess is that any topic started for the purpose of maiking it to 100 pages will end in a lock well short of the goal.
Why? Simple...there isnt a lot that merits 100 pages of commentary. +1 threads degenerate quickly into nonsense.
What threads have gone to 40 pages?
Domestic terror attacks....
International wars....
Board members in trouble...
I dont see a troll thread going 100 pages since it would require everyone being on best behaviour the entire time...not likely.
No matter how many new 19 year old hot female gun enthusiasts pop in to say hi to us, what could take 100 pages to say?
My guess....the first real 100 page thread will be the result of a major news story....a nuclear attack somewhere in the world, a prominent assasination, a terror attack here in the US, a leading politician committing suicide....something noteworthy.
Just my thoughts...I dont see any +1 threads getting to page 100.
