Tonight, I'm at a buddy's place cooking for him. It's a little more done that what i would have liked, but his oven/stove top are a little crazy with the heat. I started by combing a few cloves of garlic, a quarter of a white onion, olive oil, parsley, oregano (just a pinch) and blackpepper. After smearing it on the meat, I let it all marinate while the meat came to room temperature. Five minutes on each side (it was a thicker steak than it looks in the pictures) and then fifteen in a 450degree oven. The pictures didn't come out as clear as I had hoped they would have been, but i was so eager to eat this stuff, I snapped two, and never looked back. Nice post. Accept the criticism and learn from it. Don't be mad at other people just because they pointed out that you didn't do the dinner pic even remotely right. |
