Your socialization is lacking, my child. Get thee to a video store and rent or download the film and enjoy. Get a copy of Monty Python and the Holy Grail and have a double feature of excellently twisted British humor.

Under the terms of the Roman occupancy, we're entitled to be crucified in a purely Jewish area.

Which is funny because the Pythons put scenes with Jesus in the movie *specifically* to emphasize the fact that they were not ridiculing Christ.

I love the TV series and The Holy Grail, however the rest of the Monty Python movies just aren't funny to me.

As a Christian, the actual portrayals of Jesus in the movie are just fine. And if you understand the history of the period you know that there were all kinds of Messiahs and prophets popping up left and right. And everyone wanted their Messiah to fit their image of who the Messiah should be.

In short, the Life of Brian is pretty accurate and really funny. I don’t know why anyone would have any problem with it.

I whistled this to a guy as he died from a gun shot wound. In hindsight, he probably didn't have a clue what it was, but it gave me a good chuckle.
