For me, all of my spelling mistakes are from my phone. I hate having auto-correct on the phone on, and if I miss a mistake when proofreading a post after writing it out, so be it.

I think it's because everyone is on a phone vs a keyboard these days. It's a PITA to proofread and fix stuff on a phone, and it's easier to just go with whatever the autocorrect spits out if people will still get the point.
