Good Sam called 911 when they found the trooper laying in the road. He was flown via medical helicopter in extremely critical condition. Radio med reports put a exit wound above the left eye.
Suspects are in custody one with a mild case or lead poisoning.

I googled him, Michigan

Wow.
Ludington is such a nice town. This must have happened out in the county. The article mentioned it was a traffic stop. I hope the officer makes it, goofy patrol car or not. |
|
I hope they find the perp...soon.
We pray for a full recovery for the MSP Trooper. |

Praying for his recovery. I've been trying to keep up on news back home in MI while I've been living down here in VA. When I saw this story tonight it pretty much ruined my day. |

Way over there on Lake Michigan?
Wow. AFAIK that's a pretty nice part of Michigan. I was expecting more like Wayne County (home of the "D"). Prayers sent for the officer. |
|
Hopefully, a shoot out occurs with all perps completely "ventilated"....
Prayers sent to trooper and family...... |

Yeah, by Ludington. I haven't been up there in like 20+ odd years, since I was a kid, but I think that is a relatively small town.

He has passed away.
