Another reason I think that all cops should have partners LAPD style. There would always be someone to immediately back you up. To bad its not cost effective for the dept's to do it that way.

According to my FB update, the trooper passed away due to his wounds. The fuckers that did this deserve the same fate. Prayers are with his loved ones. I am shocked though as I've always known of troopers to pair up after dark.

When I read these stories I always wonder how someone gets desperate enough to kill a LEO. I hope Michigan still has ''Ole Sparky'' for this POS. RIP Officer.

No. The best we can do up in MI is life with no possibility of parole. That's why I always hope they don't take these bastards alive. Life in prison is too good for them.

We had a rough day in Michigan yesterday. A Wayne Country deputy sheriff got shanked in the neck multiple times, perp escaped (now in custody) and now the trooper being murdered.

Stay frosty, stay safe, come home alive.

RIP, Trooper.

No..that is the perp who is in custody after shanking the Wayne County Deputy Sheriff. He was going to be sentanced to 15 years for car jacking, he was being escorted when it happened..he wasn't properly searched or properly detained..

Suspect father is former LEO. Female suspect is 6 months pregnant

Eric's father Jack Knysz, a former Calumet City (Ill.) Police Department officer, said he is missing .357 Magnum handgun from his home. Police will not confirm whether that was the gun used in the shooting, though it is known the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered Tuesday.
