I'm blind! Help! Nothing works for self defense like the glow of a night shifter... |

You carry that big fish gutting knife every day? How do you carry that, iwb?
Neat looking holster. |
Actually, it carries pretty easily. I carry it upside down with the edge facing to the rear. It rides just behind my left hip and in front of the mag pouch. The tip points up toward my armpit and only about 3" of the handle rides below my belt. I usually wear a polo or button up but it conceals very easily under a T-shirt. This carry method allows the blade to be deployed in a reverse grip and is extremely fast into action. |

I guess I am not paranoid enough.
I carry rarely, usually when I am in an area I don't know (or know too much about) I usually carry in the woods. But I don't carry every day and I certainly don't carry a multiple knife, multiple magazine arsenal. |
Your CRKT Hissatsu is possitively breathtaking! ....looks like I'll have to get myself an early Christmas present. |
IMO, carrying some of the time is like wearing your seat belt only when you are expecting an accident. |
IMO you are either not paranoid enough OR you are quite formidable. Possibly a bit of both.... so.... which is it? |
Is it paranoia to carry a gun now? Guess I'm a member of the tinfoil hatters now, but I'm proudly paranoid then. |
Wow, even number of Glock and XD pics on this thread.
that XD seems to be selling very well. |
That sounded a bit liberace-ish. |
Wasn't there a thread just liek this a week or 2 ago? Not that I care about the dupe;
I go to college (and under 21) so I can't carry a gun, but I do carry a Surefire G2, Kershaw SpeedSafe Blur, and a Zippo, as well as mundane items such as my wallet, keys, cellphone etc. |
That exactly what I carry! (except I have trijicons) |
And the only two things you CANNOT leave the house without are your smokes and lighter |
ohhh no I can leave without the smokes and lighter I can always stop at a gas station and buy more, unfortunatly I can't stop at the fun store and buy more guns and ammo when I leave home without it.

liar |
Is that a Don Tomas you are smoking? |
+1 Springfield Armory and Milt Sparks. You certainly have taste, my friend. |
For those of you that don't carry a spare mag...what if you have to rip the one you have out to clear a type 3 malfunction?
I forgot to put my 2 mag holder in my pic |
I thought the name tapes went over your right side? |
Well for Twanami, I think he'll toss the auto and draw the revolver. CH |
screw you guys, I did a new pic |

Fool don't you know you're undergunned? There are gangbangers with bryco jennings .25s out there!!! |
Then I'm without a gun. I balance my life on a long series of probabilities. The probability that I will ever need my carry piece is low. The probability that I will need my carry piece and suffer a type 3 malfunction is about the same as dynamiting a stack of logs and winding up with a shack. I always wonder how often that 15 pounds of "daily carry gear" actually gets carried. I see a lot of pristine pistols in the pics. |
Goddamn you guys carry a lot of shit around with you!! Ain't it all kinda heavy?
I guess I'm just not a pussy.
Hell, it's still lighter than my duty rig - two mags, asp, cuffs, flashlights, etc all add up. Let's not even talk about the tac gear with plates and 14 mags. I usually carry in jeans & a button down or t-shirt. No purse here! Doc |
I would be lying if I said I was formidable. But I also don't travel in dangerous circles. I am more scared of being kicked by a momma moose than getting robbed. When I travel with my family, I am more likely to carry. By myself, I feel confident in my ability to either 1. Kick Ass. 2. Run like a terrified schoolgirl. |
