i'm currently taking a basic knife making class where we forge knives out of vehicle parts and old tools. i've got pics posted and i will be updating the thread every wednesday after class. enjoy! http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=4&t=326383 |

This thread will eventually get locked, so you might as well IM a moderator and request it to be so. |

Give it a rest, many knife fans will like this post. We rarely use the knife forum here.
Thanks for the heads up OP, I like a good maker's thread. Hav efun, I'll check it out. I check in to the knife forum quite often, so the "we" part would be incorrect. take your time and learn to use the site, and you'll see how easy it is to find what you're looking for. |

8.) Posting repeat topics with similar or slightly varying titles. While it may seem to be funny, the "spamming" of the community in this manner results in problems for users and management. (Multiple topics on important issues or discussions are acceptable, this only applies to topics which waste resources for no other reason except personal enjoyment or humor.) Not my job to interpret this (or yours, hey!), but I somehow think this doesn't exactly fit that bill. |

I would think it's every member's job to help keep the site running, and repeat topics detract from that, especially when there is a dedicated forum for the subject matter. |

Yes Lap, it's all about you. I swear. Some of you guys would argue about a sunny day. Without his post in GD, I would have missed that thread. That isn't spamming forums, it's a one time heads up. Zero Tolerance anyone? ![]() If you would have missed the thread, and proclaimed to be so interested in knives, then swing by the knife forum. http://www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=6&f=4 |

Despite an appearance by the apparent new owner of the site, I'm glad you posted it in GD. I wouldn't have seen it in the knife section. Yeah, no problem, glad I could drop by. To everyone who thinks I'm some sort of an asshole because I can read and follow the fucking rules, such as putting topics in the appropriate forum, without the need to cross-post, then I suggest you swing by Blade Forums for all your knife-related needs, since no one on AR15.com uses the Blades forum, it must be an unnecessary burden on the servers, and could therefor be removed. Thank goodness for GD. |
