I'm sure everyone's familiar with the treatment of the thug in the movie "Clockwork Orange", being made to watch violent films until he cracked. I was wondering if anyone has taken juvenile thugs & made them watch marathon sessions of "Andy Griffin Show" & "The Waltons", alternating. I'm sure some GD feel-gooder will protest that sort of thing if it were to ever happen. Seems like to me that a good dose of these shows would have an impact on a kid.

I don't know if they could do that without "hurting his feelings", but there was a judge a few years ago that did something interesting. He took a kid that was convicted of violating a noise ordinance by blaring rap and mad him sit in a room for a couple of hours and listen to Tony Bennett.

Make them watch Jerry Springer and tell them this is their destiny.

Unfortunately, the sad fact is some people just want to be on TV. Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...
