I'm sure everyone's familiar with the treatment of the thug in the movie "Clockwork Orange", being made to watch violent films until he cracked.

I was wondering if anyone has taken juvenile thugs & made them watch marathon sessions of "Andy Griffin Show" & "The Waltons", alternating.

I'm sure some GD feel-gooder will protest that sort of thing if it were to ever happen. Seems like to me that a good dose of these shows would have an impact on a kid.

I don't know if they could do that without "hurting his feelings", but there was a judge a few years ago that did something interesting. He took a kid that was convicted of violating a noise ordinance by blaring rap and mad him sit in a room for a couple of hours and listen to Tony Bennett.
