The Cattaraugus with the tan sheath is my favorite. Also pretty fond of the Cat. folding machete, popular in WWII.

Hey you have a Gerber bolt action too!

Wait til I get done with turkey day, heh heh, wanna talk knives, heh heh...

I have a few of them, I should get them out.

I got the 1st production run then I decided I liked it so I bought the black bladed one so the 1st one would stay in nice shape.

I got the exchange blade one for deer season and used it for a few years until one real cold day when my fingers were stiff, cold and slick with deer blood & fat.
I came real close to getting a nasty cut trying to take the knife blade off so I could use the saw blade.

And this odd one I can't find any info on

Link Posted: 11/22/2012 3:44:22 AM EST

The Benchmade Nimvarus and the Masters of Defence Stinger are two of my favourite knives but far too nice to see hard use. (I'm a pussy, I know)

The next one is a damascus blade from the great guys at Two Finger Knife. Micarta scales, grip wrap and kydex scabbard by yours truly. This is my preferred carry piece.

Last one is a CRKT First Strike. Very cheap but by far my favourite day-to-day working knife. Tough as old boots, easy to sharpen, delivers without complaint.

Disregard the other stuff but the Machete is a 1945 Army one and the other is a Village Blacksmith USMC marked one.

I have never seen a Tops knife that wasn't a beast. My girlfriends dad has one, called the smokejumper I believe, that blade is a monster. It's like they sharpened a leaf spring from a tractor trailer.

This is a neat little knife I used to own. The East Germans issued it to their Airborne force for use as a fighting knife (kampfmesser).

It was issued in a cardboard box with knife, scabbard, and an extra length of webbing (for field repairs, perhaps?).

The box was numbered to the knife.

The Bakelite handle was proof against 500V of electricity.

This is the special rain pattern uniform issued to paratroopers.

There is a special pocket on the side of the right trouser leg designed to hold the knife. A fabric strap passes through loops on the scabbard to secure it in the pocket and a strap with a snap holds the handle.

Very cool little blade.
