This is my Spyderco Tasmin Salt.  I carry it in my reaction side pocket.

This is my Benchmade 710.  This is another one of my favorites.

I recently bought this stryder/ zero tolerence bayonet. Its a beast. Razor sharp. I need about 5 more bayonets, but i think the rest will be the new usmc bayonet.

This is a neat little knife I used to own. The East Germans issued it to their Airborne force for use as a fighting knife (kampfmesser).

http://www.fototime.com/DEA7C3FE67696AB/orig.jpg

It was issued in a cardboard box with knife, scabbard, and an extra length of webbing (for field repairs, perhaps?).

The box was numbered to the knife.

The Bakelite handle was proof against 500V of electricity.

This is the special rain pattern uniform issued to paratroopers.

There is a special pocket on the side of the right trouser leg designed to hold the knife.  A fabric strap passes through loops on the scabbard to secure it in the pocket and a strap with a snap holds the handle.

Very cool little blade.

Very interesting.  The Germans are very meticulous people.  The design, manufacturing and packaging of that knife reflect this.

Excellent choice!  Mine is the natural micarta BP handle.

But my favorite is this Trail Guide with a stag carver handle.  Just fits my hand perfectly.
