The FN "Police Shotgun" IS a
Winchester 1300 Defender!!

It uses the same rotating bolt design as the
Winchester!

The same is essentially true of the FN Police Riflewww.fultonarmory.com/PoliceRifle.htm
It is a Model 70 Winchester.
It's hybrid between the Model 70 Stealth/Heavy Barrel Varmint & the now discontinued Laredo.
Short action,claw extractor & H.S. precision stock.
It does have some unique features.
The detachable magazine, phosphate finish & chrome bore on the special forged barrel.
I'm not sure I like the idea of a chrome bore but everything else seems cool.
Just look at the owners manuals, these are identical as far as text, photos, & descriptions.
I really don't think the Winchester design has much in common with the Benelli Inertia Recoil design.
Maybe the new Nova is similar, I dunno.
