Just wondering I've heard some people say that it does.

Skidding down asphalt on the side of your head causes baldness, definitely.

LOL no.  Unlike liberalism causing a sort of castration.

I don't know for sure but I've worn helments and baseball caps my entire adolescent and adult life (40 yrs) and have a full head of hair.

No, having a genetic predisposition to your hair follicles being sensitive to testosterone levels after certain point in your life makes your bald.

I shave my head bald every few weeks, wear a motorcycle helmet, and if I wanted to I could grow a ridiculously thick head of hair tomorrow like nothing was wrong.

Hair is genetic. You either have it or you don't.

Unfortunately I have a lot of it.

I once thought wearing a hat caused baldness, but then I realized it was just the beginning of male pattern baldness and the hat had nothing to do with it.

I never wore a helmet or hats and I had the thickest hair ... until I turned 22

Now I shave my head and grow a massive beard

Coincidentally I am bald and wear a helmet about every day. However, I don't believe there is any connection.

Too, late I'm already bald. The guys I ride with have never lost their hair. Women get helmet head.

It's not the helmet; it's all the excess testosterone.

Yes. So do hats. That's why all baseball players are bald.

Is that what it fucking was?!?

Still wouldn't trade back.

I miss riding so much, but western Washington traffic literally kills your soul.

No, wearing ties causes baldness. You don't see women wear ties, or go bald..I rest my case

Probably has more to do with that bald gene you get from mom.

I used to wear a cranial 4-6 hours a day, a flight helmet up to 4 hours a day and a motorcycle helmet up to 9 hours a day and it never caused baldness.
Still not bald.

Schrodinger's helmet. If you always wear a helmet you can be thought of as being both bald and having a glorious main.

I have read, that although it is not identified as a cause of hair loss,

Middle age males exhibiting "male pattern baldness" and thinning hair,

Have much higher levels of testosterone than the general male population.

The legendary vision of a flying haired warrior is patently a sad, false fairytale.
