The Greatest American Hero (1981) - Believe it or not I'm walking on air...in an incredibly gay superhero suit given to me by aliens.
Fame (1982) - I see your graduated from a performance arts college...you can take cab number 12. Whiz Kids (1983) - Here's a show about kids just like you who are also into computers and will never get laid. The A-Team (1983) - Hey fool, we can't hit shit we shoot at. The Master (1984) - Proof that even a show about ninjas starring Lee Van Cleef can be totally gay if you just add a Van Patten. Punky Brewster (1984) - Yes she grew up to have a fabulous pair of breasts but we still all wanted to kill her as a child. It's almost enough to make you yearn for a Arron Spelling program from the 70s. Almost. Thank God for Miami Vice. |

"The Facts of Life" (Al Bundys favorite show).
"Small Wonder" (upon checking, I see that it 1st aired in 1985... close enough). "Fame" |
It had Erin Gray...it was ok. |
Movin-on
BJ and The Bear PS There is just something about a Truck Driver who rides with a monkey and has the initals BJ that makes me laugh |
Just forgot about CHIPS. The show where cars roll, flip, blow up and the people only get "scrapes and bruises"
Anyone remember Stingray?
There was another show back then called "Private Eye," I think. It was kinda like a 1950's version of Miami Vice. Scott |
but so did Buck Rodgers |

Thank goodness for TV land. I would rather watch the lame 80's TV shows then 90% of the new shows on now. |
Supertrain (or was that 1970's?)
Wizzards & Warriors...only 8 episodes. I've never seen it, but there seems to be a whole internet cult ring about it. Oh, you asked 'best' lame shows. Sorry. |
I can't believe I'm not the only one to remember "Small Wonder!" I still remember the episode against chewing tobacco. Didn't work too well... - BG |
That was possibly the worst show ever. |
Anyone remember the show called "Sable"? It didnt run very long, but the main character had the uber-ninja camo thing going on all the time
Wow I had totally forgotten about Riptide. I remember thinking the show was lame, but they had the cool double decker helicopter.
CHiPs makes the list because it was a cool show in the 70's but then became lame in the 80's with Bruce Jenner and the recruits. |
"Cop Rock" was probably worse, but that didn't fall in the specified time frame. |

Too Close For Comfort IMDB link |

Knight Rider!!!
Well, ok, it was kinda cool in its day but it would NEVER fly today. And what about Fantasy Island? (the 'Survivor' of its day, sort of) The Love Boat!!! One Day At A Time Bosom Buddies (the 2006 version will be called F*ck Buddies) The Greatest American Homo takes the prize. My hell, TV was just as bad then as it is now. |
Hunter
McGayver a-team riptide knight rider buck rogers thoose were the shows I watched |
Are you kidding? Airwolf rocked!! Not lameo. Nick (love to find recordings of it somewhere) |
I hate to break the bad news to you, but... www.imdb.com/title/tt0384254 Knight Rider (2006) "Plot Outline: Based on the 1982 series of the same name, a lone crime fighter battles the forces of evil with the help of his indestructible and artificially intelligent car". Credited cast: David Hasselhoff.... Michael Knight Will it fly? Worse shit has been a box office success. |

Greatest american hero was not lame! Bill maxwell was a real american!
I have season 1 on DVD. Need to get the rest. It was a show that ABC screwed over with scheduling (like FOX does to its good comedies now). |
