The Greatest American Hero (1981) - Believe it or not I'm walking on air...in an incredibly gay superhero suit given to me by aliens.

Fame (1982) - I see your graduated from a performance arts college...you can take cab number 12.

Whiz Kids (1983) - Here's a show about kids just like you who are also into computers and will never get laid.

The A-Team (1983) - Hey fool, we can't hit shit we shoot at.

The Master (1984) - Proof that even a show about ninjas starring Lee Van Cleef can be totally gay if you just add a Van Patten.

Punky Brewster (1984) - Yes she grew up to have a fabulous pair of breasts but we still all wanted to kill her as a child.

It's almost enough to make you yearn for a Arron Spelling program from the 70s.

Almost.

Thank God for Miami Vice.

Anyone remember Stingray?

There was another show back then called "Private Eye," I think. It was kinda like a 1950's version of Miami Vice.

I watched Punky Brewster religiously. I remember that show from when I was 3 and 4 years old.  I even tried to dress like her.

How about....

I also vouch for "Silver Spoons" and "Small Wonder"

I vaguely recall a show with a cartoonist who had a wife, two daughters, and there was some gay dude hanging around...can't remember the title....

Actually we are both right.  CHiPs first aired in '77 and the last episode was in '83

Supertrain (or was that 1970's?)

Wizzards & Warriors...only 8 episodes.

I've never seen it, but there seems to be a whole internet cult ring about it.

In the 80's I was 3 years old. I don't know what the hell I was watching. I thought Little House on the Prairie was cool.

Anyone remember AIRWOLF!

Why is it I can still remember the theme song to that fosaken show and can't remember where I put my keys most mornings?

Of course my usual fare was still watching Transformer and GI Joe...

Wow I had totally forgotten about Riptide. I remember thinking the show was lame, but they had the cool double decker helicopter.

CHiPs makes the list because it was a cool show in the 70's but then became lame in the 80's with Bruce Jenner and the recruits.

And what about Fantasy Island? (the 'Survivor' of its day, sort of)

The Love Boat!!!

One Day At A Time

Bosom Buddies  (the 2006 version will be called F*ck Buddies)

The Greatest American Homo takes the prize.
